“Well… I thought I didn’t like cats but this little guy crawled up my wife’s leg on her way from work. We adopted him :) Meet Frosty”
I really thought my wife was lying that he crawled up her leg out of a pile of leaves. I was wrong :) The CDS is real! It was like a week after we moved back to my home town and BOOM kitten comes crying out of leaves. I couldn’t believe it. I really couldn’t say no. Glad I couldn’t :). Glad he converted me. Fascinating little creatures. I love all the weird stuff they do :)

Whether you adopt your first kitten or are adopted by one, it's a precious experience that you'll never furget. You watch them grow, day by day, into the purrfect partner. Your camera roll will be filled with pictures of them within a few days, from pics of them sleeping to them playing with a ball of aluminum foil that they think is the coolest toy in the world. They'll fall asleep on your chest, and you'll realize how blessed you are to provide a home that brings such comfort and safety to another living creature. Every morning, they'll weave in between your legs as you go to fill their food bowl, and you'll never get tired of it. Raising a kitten is a truly meowgical period of life, and you'll never ever want it to end.

I never had cats and was wary of them as pets but we got two brothers as kittens and one helpful piece of advice is to hold him a lot as a kitten and make sure to play around with his body while he's small.Playing with his toes, clipping nails, and picking him up will be super easy as a kitten so you want him conditioned to this sort of touch before he phases out of it
I was skeptical as first but my wife was adamant that they will love it as they get older and now that they're 3 years old they let us play with him like fluffy ragdolls and constantly want to be held and played with

I'm going to warn you now, as an adult this kitty will be all up in your business all day everyday. I know because the one I have makes me lean back so he can lay back in the crook of my arm anytime I'm on my computer for work or games. And is currently next to me on the couch -

One of the best parts of raising a cat from kittenhood is getting to see their purrsonality come out. Kittens, when they're young, are all pretty much the same. Curious, playful, clumsy, hungry, and sleepy. A bit timid, sometimes. But as they get older, you start to see their cute quirks and habits start to come out, like hiding behind doors to “scare you” while playing, or lounging purrfectly in the sink when you're not playing. Each cat is unique, and we hope this husband gets to enjoy the quirks of many more cats in his lifetime!

I think most men experience this with kittens, tell me if I'm not mistaken. At first they're reluctant, like Shrek, and then they end up getting attached and even sleeping snuggled up with the furry ones. hahaha. Welcome Frosty. -

You didn’t like cats and then ended up with one of the cutest I’ve ever seen.

I'm convinced the only people who don't like cats are the ones who have never been chosen by one. Once a cat chooses you, you become a cat person. -
